Lalith Ranatunga

Lalith Ranatunga, an enterprising young person, who holds a B.Sc. Degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura in Business Administration, Licentiate qualified in Institute of Charted Accountants also has obtained high educational and professional qualifications. Mr. Ranatunga worked as a Banking Assistant in a leading private bank in Sri Lanka in his very young age and is quite conversant with banking procedures.

Mr. Ranantuga has also held posts of responsibilities in various sections of the private sector and has always discharged his duties to the satisfaction of his superiors. Most recently Mr. Ranatunga worked as Accountant (MIS) in Pelwatte Sugar Industries Ltd. and after he enter to the Real Estate field.

He is also the founder of Global Information Systems, fully computerized related services, which conducts lectures, courses for which Mr. Ranatunga is solely responsible and also called upon to work as a Trainer to conduct lectures for private and government sector.

Mr. Ranatunga was also solely responsible for the formation of Lankaland property advertising website specializing in the sale of properties/ lands of its clients to buyers to assist them to achieve their satisfaction with the knowledge that they have obtained the best bargain at reasonable prices in locations that have quiet and peaceful environments. Due to his hard work and dedication he has successfully uplifted Lankaland to be considered as one of the leading land sales institutions in the country. R.M.M Ranathunga obtaining experience in Government Departments, got a promotion as a middle rank Executive as a government accountant in island wide service. After completing 12 years service in various government Departments and ministries, he was promoted to class 1 in S.L.Ac.S .

He followed various training courses in related to Financial Management locally and internationally. Discharging a most successful and in memorable career. He retired from the government services as the Chief Accountant designated as Commission Finance in the Department of Examinations, completing 41 years service in government Sector service.

His experiences in Financial management along with the talents in computer field, contributed the training programmes in Global Information System which is engaged in IT field. His advice, dedication and intervention in this regard motivated for the formation of an attractive web site namely the Lankaland.lk now in success.
